Myasthenia Gravis Awareness Month

Webster's Dictionary notes that Myasthenia Gravis is "a disease characterized by progressive weakness and exhaustibility of voluntary muscles without atrophy or sensory disturbance and caused by an autoimmune attack on acetylcholine receptors at the neuromuscular junction." Every June, the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America (MGFA) produces and distributes informational pamphlets available to the general public.
